The Gods Must Be Crazy

The story happened on Kalahari Desert in South Africa. Everything looks like normal until a careless pilot in a jet drops his empty coke-cola bottle out the window. One of the Bushmen named "Xi" (Leading role, N!xau) who find this strange bottle and does not know what it is. He takes this bottle back to his village. The older clan and others all believed that this object is a gift from gods. All of them find this bottle is very useful and everyone wants to use it. Eventually people become violent and argue each other over who needs it. Xi volunteers to walk to the end of the earth and throw "the evil thing" off. Even he does not know where it is.
At meanwhile, Kate Thompson, (Sandra Prinsloo) very beautiful woman, who leaves her tired journalist job in the big city, become to a high school teacher in South Africa. Andrew Steyn,(Marias Weyers) very clumsy biologist, who completely loses his head whenever a woman is around. And Andrew must pick up Kate from last bus stop to the school village.
In another part, Sam Boga(Louw Verwey), is a very furious terrorist, who plans assassinate governmental leader, but failed. Actually they kill the wrong person. So forced to escape, he and his bad man are looking for some people they can use as hostage in a high school.
We know how all these stories will come together but at least that is not a bad thing. All the humorous scenes go with the physical comedies includes, freaky body action, funny violence, adventure, suspense, and even a charming romance also deal with wild animals. From the other aspect, this movie tells us that there are many Bushmen people living in the Kalahari Desert. They are friendly and without any knowledge about the world. But they are getting famous, since this movie become very popular and the company made The Gods Must Be Crazy serial Two, Three and Serial Four.
